In het Sm4rtenance-project gaan 47 projectpartners uit 11 EU-landen aan de slag om een neutrale sectoroverschrijdende dataspace te faciliteren voor de productie-industrie, waar gegevens kunnen worden geleverd door de verschillende belanghebbenden, dienstverlener, fabrikant, OEM-klant, die tijdens de volledige levenscyclus van assets op elkaar reageren om onderhoudsdiensten te verlenen.

In today’s competitive market, ensuring the reliability of production assets is paramount to meeting production targets efficiently. As industries strive to enhance the Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of their rotating equipment, High Precision Maintenance has emerged as a key player in achieving this goal. 

High Precision Maintenance is a method of performing maintenance tasks so they are always done with consistency, accuracy, and in line with industry best practices. This strategy encourages attention to detail, efficiency, and safety through training, standard processes, and data. In short, it involves a meticulous process that can significantly reduce vibration levels, thereby extending the life of bearings and enhancing the overall performance of rotating equipment.

In an increasingly competitive and rapidly evolving industrial landscape, organizations must leverage cutting-edge technologies to stay ahead of the curve. Many companies seek effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency, ensure asset reliability, and address sustainability challenges. 

Consequently, numerous asset owners are initiating pilot projects involving AI. However, these initiatives often remain confined to specific departments. The challenge lies in finding a solution to unite all departments, to scale AI implementation, and to consolidate the obtained results.
