Each year on 9 June, we celebrate the Global Maintenance Day, a day to promote and honour the value of maintenance in our lives. Companies and organisations worldwide contribute to putting maintenance in the spotlight on June 9.
Maintenance is an activity that takes place all around us, positively affecting the world we live in, as individuals, families, organisations or communities. Besides its main task of keeping things running, good maintenance has many other positive influences and impacts that we do not consider at first glance, such as economic benefit, sustainable development and increased safety.

About Global Maintenance Day
Global Maintenance Day is an initiative of the Global Forum on Maintenance & Asset Management (GFMAM) and takes place every year on 9 June.
Around the world, companies, associations and other organisations organise initiatives to raise awareness of the importance of maintenance and asset management and to show appreciation for the professionals who maintain our infrastructure, production facilities, buildings and other essential assets.
