Active in the standardisation of digital information for the process industry, including as chair of VDI 2770 and DIN SPEC 91406.

About the speakers
Willem Offermans is a passionate Principal Engineer at Sitech, where he plays a key role in driving innovation at the intersection of engineering, ICT, and digitalisation. With a deep-rooted enthusiasm for technology, Willem has made it his mission to bridge the gap between operational excellence and digital transformation in the process industry.

Christoph Attila Kun is Global Manager Digital Data Chain at BASF SE Ludwigshafen. He joined BASF in 2011 as a maintenance engineer. After various optimization projects in maintenance, he took over the development and management of the SAP Plant Maintenance Services unit in 2013. In 2018, he moved to the Digitalization unit, where he took over the management of the Global Digital Asset Master Data Management unit as Product Manager.
In addition to this activity, Christoph Attila Kun is also involved in standardization for and digitization of the process industry as head of the VDI Technical Committee 2770 Digital Manufacturer Information, as manager of the DIN SPEC Consortium 91406 Automatic Identification of Physical Objects, and as head of the working group Digital Platforms for Asset Management and Maintenance in the Process Industry.
