SM4RTENANCE 8th Deep Dive: Machine Tool Usage Data for Informed Decisions
This use case focuses on generating value on how machines are actually being used, and can be used to improve the operating parameters, tooling, and processes for machine users.
From the Digital Factory Alliance (DFA) and the SM4RTENANCE consortium we are delighted to invite you to join us in our next Deep Dive, as part of our series of SM4RTENANCE Deep Dives. These events explore business and technical applications of Data Spaces in the manufacturing industry. Concretely, the SM4RTENANCE Deep Dives aim to provide the manufacturing community with a comprehensive understanding of the benefits of data sharing through trusted data spaces for Predictive Maintenance and Asset Management.
Attendees will gain insights into the transformative impact of data-driven processes on manufacturing operations. So, the 8th SM4RTENANCE Deep Dive event will take place on Tuesday, 18th March 2025, at 12.00 PM CET.
Starting with a brief welcome and SM4RT-TIME information, key SM4RTENANCE partners from Fidia and DGS will showcase the SM4RTENANCE pilot on Machine Tool Usage Data for Informed Decisions
This use case focuses on generating value on how machines are actually being used, and can be used to improve the operating parameters, tooling, and processes for machine users. This way, data on how components perform under different operating conditions help component makers to improve their designs and materials, leading to increased durability and reliability. In this use case, machine builders use the data to innovate and develop better machines tailored to the actual usage patterns and needs of the machine-users. As a result, the implementation of a Data Space enabling real-time data sharing and collaboration among key stakeholders establishes a foundation for advanced services.
