Keynote : From Data to Decisions: Elevating Predictive Maintenance to the Boardroom

Seminar
IIoT & Maintenance 4.0 & 5.0

Predictive maintenance has already become a reality for many industrial companies. Approximately 15-20% have fully implemented or are in the process of implementing predictive maintenance technologies, with their current challenge being to maximize the added value, secure board-level buy-in, and ensure continuous investment in further rollouts. Meanwhile, an additional 60-65% are running pilots or planning their implementation strategies.

In a European context characterized by high wage and energy costs, companies cannot afford to fall behind in adopting these technologies. Predictive maintenance is no longer just about preventing unplanned downtime—it has become a strategic tool for optimizing resources, reducing operational costs, and driving sustainability.

For boardrooms, predictive maintenance represents more than just operational efficiency. It aligns directly with strategic goals such as profitability, sustainability, and risk management. Predictive technologies enable measurable reductions in energy consumption and emissions, contributing to ESG objectives, while simultaneously cutting unplanned downtime costs. Moreover, the ability to leverage data for real-time decision-making provides a competitive edge, helping businesses remain resilient in volatile markets. Drawing on almost two decades of experience in predictive maintenance, Fabrice Brion discusses how businesses can stay ahead in the rapidly evolving landscape of Industry 4.0.
