Wim Vancauwenberghe - Director
Wim Vancauwenberghe is a master in industrial engineering, and director of BEMAS since 2000. Throughout his career he has witnessed dozens of 'best practices' in companies across all industries. With his vast network in the world of maintenance & asset management, he has the opportunity to meet hundreds of top professionals each year. He is motivated to use his knowledge to help companies reach their potential and improve the way assets are managed and maintained. Wim is a firm believer in the importance of the maintenance profession. This is why he is known as Belgian's 'maintenance evangelist'. In 2013 Wim became officially a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional. He is also a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician and Certified Reliability Leader. In recent years Wim focused attention on the ongoing digital transformation in the world of maintenance and asset management by setting the Asset Performance 4.0 conference and participating in several projects focussing on digital competences for maintenance workers. Add a keen interest in sustainability and circular economy and you understand why Wim and BEMAS are taking up the challenge of guiding the maintenance and asset management communities into the exciting world of Industry 5.0.

Emilie Vandemeulebroeke - Operations Manager
Emilie Vandemeulebroeke obtained a Master degree in Pedagogical Sciences. Emilie has been working at BEMAS since January 2015. She is the Operations Manager and is responsable for the HR and the Finances of BEMAS

Chiara Van Steenberge - Marketing & communication Manager
Chiara graduated as a German and Russian translator and then gained experience as a copywriter and sales assistant. At BEMAS, her focus is on general marketing and communications. In addition, she plays a key role in organising webinars, seminars and learning networks. Chiara also contributes to the organisation of the Asset Performance Conference and supports various strategic projects of BEMAS.

Celina De Frenne - Training Cordinator
Celina holds a Master's degree in Multilingual Communication and has extensive experience in several multilingual administrative positions. In recent years, she worked on a project basis in various sectors (HR, construction and building materials, facilities,...), joining BEMAS in 2020. She ensures that each training course runs smoothly, keeps in touch with the trainers, training locations and is also your contact for more information on (in-house) training courses.

Hanne Vandaele - Training support
Hanne is part of the BEMAS team as Training Support and brings with her experience a solid dose of expertise to the daily operations. Outside her work at BEMAS, you can find Hanne in the world of creative therapy and career coaching. With her versatility and enthusiasm, Hanne brings not only professional support to the team, but also a warm human touch that enriches the working environment and makes everyone feel at home.

Jean-Marc Schutz - Consultant indépendant chargé des relations francophones
Jean-Marc Schutz has devoted his entire professional career to maintenance, offering high-quality services as a supplier of technical products such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, heat exchangers and the appropriate maintenance service. During his 43 years of experience, he has built a wide network and gained in-depth knowledge of maintenance and plant management processes. Now he has joined BEMAS, with the new goal of supporting and guiding customers in their daily management by offering the full range of BEMAS services and providing solutions based on their needs.

Shana Mercy - Administrative Support
Shana holds a degree in Office Management and has accumulated extensive experience in administrative positions at various companies. Thanks to her versatile background and eye for detail, she knows how to provide the right support every time. Since February 2024, she has been part of the team at BEMAS, where she plays a crucial role as Administrative Support. She supports the training team in their daily operations and is responsible for smooth and correct invoicing. In addition, Shana is your first point of contact for all administrative and accounting questions. With her professional approach and customer-oriented attitude, she ensures that everything runs smoothly.

Matthis Veys - Junior Digital Marketeer
Matthis holds a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences, which he complemented with a postgraduate certificate in Computer-Assisted Language Mediation to gain hands-on insights into the digital world. Since April 2025, he has been part of the BEMAS team as a Junior Digital Marketeer. He eagerly dives into everything related to communication and digital media. With a fresh perspective and strong enthusiasm, he supports the training team with email campaigns, manages the monthly newsletters, and is responsible for BEMAS’ social media presence. Thanks to his smooth writing style and curious mindset, he plays a key role in shaping the organisation’s digital visibility.
