Press release: Highsail and Silvent are the big winners of the BEMAS Innovation Awards 2026
Antwerp – 25 March 2026 – During the easyFairs Maintenance 2026 trade fair, BEMAS, the Belgian Maintenance Association vzw, presented the BEMAS Digital Innovation Award and the Maintenance Innovation Award for the fifteenth time.
Eleven exhibitors at easyFairs MAINTENANCE 2026 submitted an application to compete for the BEMAS Digital Innovation Award or the Maintenance Innovation Award. These candidates were evaluated by an expert jury on criteria including their level of innovation and practical applicability. This resulted in three finalists for the Digital Innovation Award: Airvision, Highsail and Remberg. For the Maintenance Innovation Award, Fluitec, Perspect and Silvent were selected. During the trade fair, the members of the expert jury visited the finalists’ stands to gain a better understanding of their innovations and to reach a final decision.
Digital Innovation Award for Highsail
The jury awarded the Digital Innovation Award to Highsail, a young company with a dynamic approach through its AI Voice Assistant for Field Technicians. Their open-source platform can operate independently of customer systems and is therefore widely deployable. The AI Assistant can be used both in industrial environments and by field service technicians. The jury chair was full of praise: “With their innovation, they solve a common problem, namely the amount of administration technicians face on a daily basis.” As a result, technicians can carry out their tasks much more efficiently and increase their productivity.
Airvision and Remberg were also among the finalists for the Digital Innovation Award, each with a strong AI-driven solution. Airvision presented its AI-Based Computer Vision Inspection Platform: a platform that enables rapid analysis of photographic material showing corrosion, fractures and flaking. Their platform delivers significant time savings in the analysis of these images, allowing faster and more targeted intervention.
Remberg presented an AI-Supported Maintenance Workflow Platform, where a combination of intelligent document processing and user-friendliness enables faster and more targeted interventions. Thanks to their AI-supported platform, insights gained from previous interventions can be used to deploy technicians more smoothly and with greater effectiveness.

Silvent wins the Maintenance Innovation Award
This year, the Maintenance Innovation Award went to Silvent for its Pro 4X Ergonomic Compressed Air Gun, a blow gun that reduces energy consumption and significantly lowers noise levels. The blow gun features a unique design, can be implemented quickly, and therefore offers a short payback period. With this innovation, Silvent aims to improve safety and efficiency for maintenance technicians.
Among the finalists for the Maintenance Innovation Award, Fluitec and Perspect also stood out with their maintenance-focused solutions. Fluitec presented its FilL4life Oil Lifecycle Management Program, a platform focused on optimizing lubricant management. Through optimal monitoring of lubricating oil, the service life of materials and assets is extended. Perspect was nominated for its SF6 FIX Online Sealing System, a sealing system that makes it possible to carry out repairs without taking the installation out of service. This innovation increases the availability of critical energy infrastructure.
