BEMAS and Mainnovation launch free Asset Management Maturity Self-Assessment Tool
Following the first edition of Global Asset Management Day, BEMAS (Belgian Maintenance Association) and Mainnovation announce the launch of a free Asset Management Maturity Self-Assessment Tool. This tool enables organisations to objectively assess their current maturity level and identify the next steps towards professional Asset Management.
Asset Management plays a critical role in ensuring reliable and safe assets, efficient and sustainable operations, and the optimal use of resources across the entire asset lifecycle. At the same time, organisations are facing increasing pressure to balance performance, risk and cost, while responding to stricter regulations and higher stakeholder expectations.
With this initiative, BEMAS and Mainnovation aim to provide organisations with clear insights into their current practices and practical guidance for improvement.
The assessment consists of a series of statements across 9 key Asset Management domains, including strategy and governance, asset information management, long-term planning, condition monitoring, and risk-based asset management.
The assessment takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Upon completion, participants receive:
- a maturity score per domain
- an overall maturity profile
- insight into strengths and improvement areas
- a practical action plan with recommended next steps
These insights help organisations to prioritise initiatives, better justify investments, and accelerate their journey towards professional Asset Management.
The self-assessment is available free of charge at: https://selfscan.bemas.org
