Shutdown & Turnaround Management

The BEMAS Learning Network Shutdown & Turnaround Management provides a platform where shutdown managers and everyone involved or interested can come together to share their experiences related to shutdowns. During our meetings, held 3 to 4 times a year, we focus on safety, quality, organization, and lessons learned from previous shutdowns. Through this exchange of knowledge, you can improve and make your procedures more effective.

In both the chemical and other heavy industries, shutdowns or turnarounds are inevitable, but they bring significant challenges in terms of safety, quality, costs, organization, and scheduling. As a shutdown or turnaround manager, you understand how important it is to manage these processes efficiently and effectively.

You want to improve and maintain your competitive position by using proven methods and best practices. That is why sharing experiences and knowledge with colleagues in the industry is invaluable. By collaborating and learning from each other, you can optimize your own processes and ensure your organization is prepared for future challenges.

The possible topics and dates for the upcoming sessions will be agreed upon in mutual consultation.

Practical

The sessions will always take place in the afternoon, and whenever possible at one of the participating companies. Depending on the topic of the day and the host company's facilities, a tour may be organized.
 

Free of charge for employees of companies that are members of BEMAS

  • Employees of organizations that are not members: €595 per participant for 4 sessions.
