Advanced Spare Parts Management
The management of spare parts is becoming increasingly challenging. The growing complexity of production processes results in a larger number of items that need to be kept in stock, leading to significant capital costs and storage issues. Moreover, the economic climate puts pressure on companies, increasing the emphasis on cost reduction.
These challenges will undoubtedly be familiar to you. That is why BEMAS is setting up a Learning Network on Advanced Spare Parts Management. The facilitator of this Learning Network is Shana Vroman, Warehouse Manager at BASF. During the first session of this Learning Network, we will visit the spare parts warehouse of Agristo.
The topics covered in the Advanced Spare Parts Management Learning Network include the link between asset strategy and spare parts, managing expiration dates of spare parts, setting up maintenance plans for technical materials, using AI to optimize master data, smart bundling of job packages for end users, taxonomy and standardization of master data, track and trace of new materials, spare parts, and repair parts, innovative storage systems and their integration with EAM/ERP systems, and much more.
Target Audience
This Learning Network is aimed at managers of (large) technical warehouses who want to optimize Technical Warehouse processes, both in SAP and other EAM solutions.
Consultants and suppliers are not allowed to participate unless invited for specific sessions at the explicit request of the network members!
