Sessions will address RCM, maintenance master data, lifecycle cost, asset structures, strategic maintenance contracts and maintenance manuals based on ISO 55000 principles.
Condition monitoring and diagnostics
Several contributions focus on vibration analysis, condition-based maintenance, predictive models, MTBF estimation, real-time monitoring and diagnostic reliability.
Industrial AI, digital twins and data
The programme includes presentations on AI-supported maintenance, digital twins, machine learning, federated learning, agentic AI, RAG applications and data-driven decision-making in maintenance organisations.
Reliability, RAMS, safety and sustainability
The programme also covers risk analysis, operational safety, sustainable asset management, the carbon footprint of maintenance activities and circular approaches to spare parts and lifecycle management.
Who is hosting EuroMaintenance 2026
The 2026 edition of EuroMaintenance is being arranged, with the support of EFNMS, by the Division of Operation and Maintenance Engineering at Luleå University of Technology in collaboration with the Swedish Maintenance Society (Svenskt underhåll).
Operations and Maintenance Engineering at Luleå University of Technology is a pioneering, interdisciplinary field established in 2001. Over the past two decades, the division has built a strong international reputation for advancing condition monitoring, predictive technologies, and big data analytics to ensure reliable and sustainable performance in industry.
Their research environment is supported by specialized facilities, including two e-maintenance labs and a condition-based maintenance lab, where new methods and tools are developed and tested together with partners from industry. They have also launched the International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management, published by Springer, as part of their commitment to sharing knowledge globally.
With funding from the EU and Swedish research bodies such as VINNOVA and SSF, and through close collaborations with industries and universities worldwide, they continue to drive innovation and shape the future of smarter, more sustainable operations and maintenance.
