Criticality study and implementation of a maintenance plan

Training
Maintenance Management

Context

When faced with a failure, how should we react? Are all failures equally important? Should we react with the same speed? Should we invest significant material and human resources? Couldn't we have a different reactivity according to objective elements?

At a time when we are talking about optimising resources and a sometimes drastic reduction in financial resources, could we not implement high-performance tools that will enable us to adapt our maintenance policy according to elements such as the criticality of production equipment? You will find the answers to these questions at the end of the training course.

Occurrence

Target Audience

  • Reliability engineers,
  • Engineers and managers of support and methods,
  • Maintenance managers.

Prerequisites

  1. Knowledge of industrial technologies and techniques,
  2. Knowledge of maintenance concepts.

At the end of the course you will be able to

  1. to carry out a criticality study by integrating the fundamental notions and parameters;
  2. set up or optimise a maintenance plan according to certain key parameters.

Programme

Day 1: Criticality study:

  • Introduction: concept of criticality,
  • Definition, context and tools of the criticality study,
  • Theory of the criticality study,
  • Exercise to put a criticality study into practice on a real case.

Day 2: Maintenance plan:

  • Concept, type, level and definition of maintenance,
  • What is a maintenance plan,
  • General method for implementing a maintenance plan,
  • Theory of the tools needed to implement a maintenance plan,
  • Practical exercise of maintenance plan implementation on a real case.

Pedagogy

  • The training is based on the study of concepts and the carrying out of exercises.
  • The analysis of concrete cases will facilitate understanding and implementation.
  • This approach allows each participant to formalise a methodology that can be applied within his or her company.
  • Each participant will receive a syllabus

Type of training

The training is offered on an "inter-company" basis. It is based on the above programme. If you would like a programme based on your specific needs, we can offer you the "intra-company" formula. Contact us to analyse your needs together. We will design a programme and schedule that will meet your needs.
