As a non-profit organisation, we believe it is important to report transparently on our operations and results. We therefore warmly invite you to attend the General Meeting on Tuesday 9 June 2026 at Exail in Ostend.

Practical information
- Please register to confirm your participation in the General Meeting. Please choose in the right column if you want to join live or online.
- If your company is an effective member, you can also vote on behalf of your company in the General Meeting. Not sure if your company is an effective member? Check the list of effective members here.
- Effective members who cannot attend or participate in the online meeting are urged to grant a proxy vote to another voting member. You can grant a proxy vote: Send an email to info@bemas.org if you would like to receive a list of the voting members who have already confirmed their attendance and to whom you can grant a proxy vote.

Registration and voting rights at the General Assembly
According to BEMAS's articles of association, only ‘effective members’ have the right to vote in the General Assembly.
If you are not sure whether your company is an effective member, check the list of effective members here.
You can change your membership status to that of ordinary member by sending a simple request by e-mail to the BEMAS office.
Following the meeting: Keynote and Walking Dinner at EXAIL
Following the General Meeting, you are invited to attend the evening event as part of Global Maintenance Day, which this year focuses on resilience. EXAIL develops and manufactures autonomous underwater drones deployed from unmanned vessels of approximately 12 metres. Together, these systems form a fully robotic solution for the detection, classification, identification and neutralisation of sea mines.
This company visit demonstrates how maintenance, reliability, service readiness and lifecycle support contribute to the performance of critical systems in extreme conditions. It is a compelling practical case study for anyone involved in reliability, availability, automation and operational resilience.

As a member of BEMAS, you can take part at the special rate of €75. For non-members, the participation fee is €95.
Global Maintenance Day 2026 – 9 June
Put your maintenance and asset management team in the spotlight on 9 June:
- Raise awareness internally, across departments, of the impact your technical team has on safety, reliability, continuity, energy efficiency and resilience.
- Share examples via the company website or social media, using the hashtags #GlobalMaintenanceDay and #GMD2026.
- But most importantly: don’t forget to thank the people who ensure that critical assets continue to perform every day.
This is how you make maintenance more visible as a strategic factor for resilience, sustainability and long-term value creation.
